Metal framing channel support systems such as Unistrut are used in the construction, engineering, oil & petrochemical industries the World over. Transporting services such as data, electrical, air conditioning, fire suppression or used as a base of a sub-frame from which to support just about anything, channel supports systems are versatile and easy to use.
The system is built from the following components:
Channel
Channel is the base of which most supports systems start. It is made from mild steel and most commonly pre-galvanised although it is also supplied in a galvanised & stainless steel finish. It is available 1.5 or 2.5mm thickness, 41 x 41mm or 41 x 21mm and either slotted or plain. It is also available in 3m or 6m lengths. The result is the following pre-galvanised combinations:
