The TIMco Classic Plus is a high performance woodscrew. The TIMco research & developemnt team has spent over 2 years developing the screw. It is suitable for hardwood, plastic, softwood, MDF, plywood, thin sheet metal & chipboard.
- Double countersunk reduces the likelihood of head shear
- TIM Drive Recess (T10, T20, T25, T30) recess to reduce driver wear, offer more positive drive and prevent camming out
- 6 Ribs on the second countersink to assist completion of countersinking and prevent damage to furniture hardware
- Partially threaded above 25mm to improve clamping effectiveness
- Lubricated with Gleitmo 605 to enhance screw insertion time and a greater resistance to corrosion
- Plated in Zinc 5-8 microns and yellow passivated to give a high resistance to corrosion
- Wave-Thread serrations on 1/3 of the thread reduces driving torque
- Unique thread configuration to give a rapid installation and a secure fixing with high pull-out resistance
- Type 17 Slash Point eliminates the need for pre-drilling and prevents the wood from splitting
The TIMco Classic Plus has ribs only on the second countersink; this allows the screw to sit flush into a hinge countersink and prevents the ribs from damaging the plating.
A Torx driver bit is included in each box.
