Socket screws are cold forged, which results in a more precise product with tremendous strength.

Cylindrical head, hexagon drive socket cap screws contribute in the installation of many applications throughout industry, which normally requires an modern attractive finish, eliminating protruding or bulky looking parts.

Fix8 supply from stock socket cap screws in a self colour, zinc plated, stainless steel A2 & stainless steel A4. Our standard range includeds fully threaded, fine pitch and low head caps.

Imperial socket caps screw threads include UNC, UNF, BA, WHIT & BSF. Whilst our standard steel socket cap screws grades are 12.9, we can manufacture in 8.8, 10.9, & 14.9 grade steel, as well as pertro-chemical grades.

*Suggest tightening torque values are only a guide and the following should be observed.

• The self colour screw surface finish for self colour is “Black Oxide” after heat treatment.
• Metric thread: Grade 12.9 is 4g 6g thread class. Please refer to ISO 965 standard
• The above specification is for coarse threads only.
• Suggested seating torque values, only apply to metric Grade 12.9 hex, socket head cap screws. The tightening torque will change, if fixing takes place with materials or surface finishes with variable fixing coefficient. The self colour table can only be applied to coefficient of friction in which the screw maintains it’s status, without any additional treatment after heat treatment and that the thread has anti-rustic oil protection.
• The data above should only be used as a reference guide. The proper torque can only be determined by analyzing the design parameters which include temperature plating, lubrication, face material, washer type and condition of the mating threads. Short term tensile creep and stress relaxation should be considered for applications where the temperature exceeds 400^oF (204^oC). Lower ductility, impact strength and fatigue life must be considered for screws subject to temperatures below -20^oF (-29^oC).

Socket Button Screws ISO 7380

Socket button screws are dome headed socket screws, ideal for a high torque attractive finish. They are often used in light fastening applications where materials are too thin to countersink.

Imperial socket caps screw threads include UNC, UNF, BA, WHIT & BSF. Whilst our standard steel socket cap screws grades are 10.9, we can manufacture in 8.8, 12.9, & 14.9 grade steel, as well as pertro-chemical grades.

Socket Set Screws or grub screws as they are commonly known are employed for location of pulleys, collars, shafts etc is required. They are available in a number of different configurations including cup point, knurled cup point, dog point and cone point.

Diameters range from 1.4 - 48mm, lengths as required.
